Vietnam Prime Minister attends ASEM 10 Summit – strategic partnership

At the unofficial high level meeting held  in the morning  October 16, the EU-ASEAN Leaders affirmed their determination towards strategic partnership, which attaches great importance to promote economic relations, trade, connection as well as responding to global challenges.

Cooperation agreement between Ben Tre province (Vietnam) and Tulcea province of Romania signed right on this Summit occasion and in the Mekong-Danube framework is vivid demonstration of the practical partner relationship of Eurasia.

Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung appreciated the support of members to three new initiatives of Vietnam at ASEM 10 Summit on “ASEM Seminar on sustainable management of water resources to ensure food security”, “ASEM Youth Week: stronger action to address the challenge of not poverty” and “Conference on green skills towards comprehensive and  sustainable growth”.​
