Vietnam is important in Romania’s external policy
Romanian Ambassador Valeriu Arteni said Vietnam has a special place in Romania’s external policy
He spoke at a meeting to celebrate Romania’s National Day, December 1, in Ho Chi Minh city. Arteni said the Romanian government has pursued an external policy of multi-lateralization,diversification, and giving high priority to developing relationship with traditional friends, including Vietnam. He said Romania supported Vietnam’s desire to enhance cooperation with the EU by signing theFree Trade Agreement and the EU-Vietnam Partnership and Cooperation Agreement.
